In a heartwarming display of the true spirit of VOBA, three of our esteemed members have gone above and beyond to save a life. Lazarus Maikudi (1996 set), Tanko Jepleng (2006 set) and Shedrach Chachagap (2014 set) recently answered the call to help donate blood to save a sickle cell patient posted on the VOBA WhatsApp platform. The sickle cell anaemia patient was admitted to JUTH Lamingo for over two weeks and was in urgent need for blood donors.

Their selfless act exemplifies the core values of VOBA and demonstrates the impact our members can make in the community. Lazarus, Tanko and Shedrach have truly embodied the spirit of brotherhood and service that defines our association. We celebrate their extraordinary act of kindness and compassion, which undoubtedly made a significant difference in Rukaiya's life. Let their actions inspire us all to continue positively impacting wherever we can.
